Seamless connectivity with Fresenius 4008S, 5008S, and 6008 dialysis machines
Coming soonThis integration is on our roadmap and not yet available — this page describes the planned design. Contact our team for availability timelines and early access.
Treatment parameters auto-captured from Fresenius machines at configurable intervals (default every 5 minutes).
Machine alarms (venous pressure, TMP, air detector) logged in sync with patient clinical record for complete audit trail.
All Fresenius machines (4008S, 5008S, 6008) visible on a single dashboard regardless of model mix.
Eliminates transcription errors — no more illegible manual UF volume recordings or misrecorded blood flow rates.
A lightweight edge device (Raspberry Pi 4-based) installed next to each Fresenius machine. Connects via RS-232 serial port (DB9) or TCP/IP network connection depending on machine model and facility network setup.
Bridge captures live machine data stream at user-configurable intervals (1-15 minutes). Captured parameters: Qb, Qd, arterial pressure, venous pressure, TMP, UF rate, UF volume, conductivity, dialysate temperature, heparin rate, and active alarms via HL7 or proprietary Fresenius Data Management System format.
Proprietary machine data is converted to HL7 v2.6 ORU^R01 observation messages and transmitted over encrypted TLS connection to the ZuvFlo cloud — no local server or additional software required.
Incoming data populates the patient's session chart in real-time. Nurses verify and sign the auto-populated chart. Alarms create clinical documentation entries with nurse acknowledgement workflow.
Compatible with Fresenius 4008S, 4008S NG, 5008S, 5008 CorDiax, and 6008 — each with model-specific parameter mapping.
Every machine alarm (venous pressure high, TMP high, conductivity out of range, air in venous return, blood leak) is logged with timestamp, duration, nurse response, and resolution.
Access flow (QA), recirculation (Qr), and clearance (K) measurements from Fresenius online clearance monitor (OCM) captured and trended over time.
Bridge stores up to 48 hours of machine data locally if network connection is lost. Data syncs automatically when connection is restored — no data loss.
